Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring clear and accurate imaging
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain health records
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including call-off coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and infection control practices
• Proficiency with dental software and radiography equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
