Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for patients
• Assess oral health conditions and document findings
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Apply fluoride varnish and sealants to protect teeth
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental team to ensure a great patient experience
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active and valid Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Proven experience in clinical dental hygiene
• Strong communication skills and a caring chairside manner
• Ability to adapt quickly to new practice environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Proficiency with dental radiography and imaging equipment
• Expertise in infection control and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
