Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to ensure a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Provide compassionate patient care, especially for children, to make visits comfortable
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography (X-ray) certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
• Strong attention to sterilization and infection control
• Ability to work with children and anxious patients with patience
• Computer proficiency for patient record management
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
