Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care to promote long-term health
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain detailed patient records and uphold strict infection control standards
• Screen patients for oral diseases and abnormalities, escalating as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work a per diem schedule, including short-notice shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient communication and education
• Knowledge of dental instrumentation and sterilization techniques
• Proficient in dental charting and recordkeeping
• Strong attention to detail for accurate patient care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
