Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for procedures
• Assist the dentist chairside during exams and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed, helping to diagnose and plan treatment
• Provide exceptional patient care, especially for our younger patients, making their visit comfortable and fun
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiology/X-ray certification for taking dental x-rays
• Experience working with children or in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain a compassionate and calm demeanor with children
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
