Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in orthodontic assessments and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment documentation
• Keep the clinical area organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Assistant Certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials
• Proficiency in dental practice management software, such as Denticon
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Time management skills to keep patient appointments on schedule
