Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Take and develop dental impressions and radiographs
• Maintain a clean and sterile treatment environment
• Document patient records accurately in the dental software
• Provide patients with post‑procedure instructions and answer questions

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent dental assisting credential
• Experience working in an orthodontic office preferred
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and patient‑service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and appliance handling
• Dental imaging and radiography techniques
• Dental software (e.g., Denticon)
• Sterilization and instrument processing
• Patient education and comfort techniques
