Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and patient care
- Prepare instruments and materials for each appointment
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
- Support the orthodontist during treatments and consultations
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for the next patient
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced orthodontic setting
- Valid Maryland dental assistant license (if required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Orthodontic terminology and procedures
- Infection control and sterilization protocols
- Patient care and comfort techniques
- Electronic health record (EHR) usage
- Instrument handling and maintenance
