Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during extractions, implants, and other surgical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatory rooms
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Manage surgical supplies and maintain inventory
• Document patient information and support post-operative instructions

Qualifications

• Must have oral surgery assisting experience (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Dental radiography/X-ray certification
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of oral surgery instruments and sterilization protocols
• Skilled in chairside assisting during surgical procedures
• Understanding of dental anatomy and surgical terminology
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
