Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room to ensure every surgical procedure runs safely and smoothly
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Monitor patients throughout surgery, providing compassionate care and quick assessments
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to deliver the best outcomes
• Jump into action during on-call shifts for urgent and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Hawaii or willingness to obtain upon acceptance
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with circulating in various surgical specialties
• Comfort with electronic medical records, including Point Click

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm in a fast-paced OR
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Adaptability to handle various surgical cases and schedules
