Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Develop individualized care plans to help patients regain independence in daily activities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapist license
New grads welcome - we provide mentorship and support
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in geriatric rehabilitation and functional mobility
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Knowledge of Medicare and insurance guidelines for OT services
Creative problem-solving and patient-centered approach
