Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU
Location: Garden City, Kansas
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 on-call for after-hours, weekends, and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with confidence
- Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers nursing staff
- Enhance clinical competencies and mentor team members
- Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedural support
- Manage staffing ratios and ensure safe patient care across units
- Float to support other departments when needed as a team player
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
- 1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- CRRT competency and experience with critical care and telemetry
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing nursing teams
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care and telemetry monitoring expertise
- Vasoactive drip titration and moderate sedation experience
- Cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures knowledge
- Ventilator management and respiratory support skills
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips confidently
