Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-06-2026
End Date: 09-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Cardiac, SPECT, Bone Scan, Bleed Studies, and Gastric Emptying procedures with precision and care
- Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize Radnet & Merge Unity systems for accurate documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Float to Mercy Downtown location when needed to support patient needs across the system
- Maintain quality standards while completing 5-10 studies per day
Qualifications
- Active CA NMTL license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently with radiologist support available
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear Medicine procedures including Cardiac, SPECT, Bone Scan, Bleed Studies, and Gastric Emptying
- GE imaging equipment operation
- Radnet & Merge Unity systems
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
