Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a per diem setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other team members to deliver seamless care
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and care plans

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous experience as an LPN in a clinical setting is preferred but not always required
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
