Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; per diem schedule with exact days and start/end times to be scheduled with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care that improves daily life and comfort
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Monitor patients and report changes to the clinical team to ensure quality care
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient-centered care
Educate patients and families about care plans and self-care at discharge
Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment

Qualifications

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license — Pennsylvania preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain promptly)
Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
Comfortable working per diem shifts with a flexible schedule
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Immunizations and health screenings per facility requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
Medication administration and documentation proficiency
Familiarity with electronic health records or willingness to learn
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Basic wound care, vital signs, and ADL assistance
