Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents consistent with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
• Monitor resident status and promptly report changes or concerns to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
• Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues and families

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (or compact/eligible as required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medication administration, documentation, and basic clinical assessments
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety protocols
• Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team and supporting care transitions
• Basic electronic charting skills or willingness to learn facility charting systems
