Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and feeding
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care clearly and communicate observations to the care team
Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Compassionate attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and reliability

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric care principles and elder dignity
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Accurate documentation and observational skills
Basic patient mobility and transfer techniques
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
