Shift Type: Days not specified, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility with compassion and respect
Provide attentive bedside care and monitor residents for changes in condition
Measure and record vital signs and report any concerns to the nursing team promptly
Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices for residents with special needs
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
Promote a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate effectively and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

GNA certification required (Class: GNA listed in job details)
Comfort working overnight (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and adapting to per diem schedules
Compassionate attitude and experience caring for older adults preferred
Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and escalate concerns appropriately
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
GNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and resident dignity
Proficiency with vital sign collection and basic patient assessments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Reliability in documentation and following care plans
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist across shifts
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
