Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep smiles healthy
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in accurate diagnoses
• Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments with precision
• Document patient care and update medical histories meticulously
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• CPR/BLS certification current and ready
• Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
• Comfort using dental software and digital records
• All experience levels welcome; new graduates encouraged to apply

• Patient assessment and evaluation
• Dental radiography (x-ray) techniques
• Periodontal therapy and scaling
• Sterilization and infection control
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
