Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental X-rays accurately
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to protect teeth
• Document patient care and treatment plans in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with dentists to provide exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a dental office is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in dental software and patient charting
• Strong attention to detail for accurate X-rays and records
• Ability to work effectively with a dental team
