Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Accurately document patient treatments and update medical histories
• Collaborate with dentists to plan and carry out effective treatment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Previous experience as a dental hygienist is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and periodontal care
• Proficient in taking and interpreting dental radiographs
• Skilled in using dental software and electronic patient records
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Excellent verbal communication and patient education skills
