Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide excellent preventive dental care, including cleanings and patient education
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately
• Take dental x-rays and perform periodontal screenings as needed
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience in a dental practice is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and patient records
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
• Ability to educate patients on oral health effectively
