Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date treatment records.
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience providing dental hygiene services in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficient in taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Understanding of oral health, preventive dentistry, and periodontal care
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team
