Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date treatment records.
- Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience providing dental hygiene services in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Proficient in taking dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Understanding of oral health, preventive dentistry, and periodontal care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team
