Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized at-home care routines
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Document patient care thoroughly and collaborate with the dentist to deliver optimal treatment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a safe, welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain one before start
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene; new graduates with a valid license are welcome
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and dental radiography
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for making patients feel at ease
• Familiarity with electronic dental records and documentation practices
