Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Help patients develop, restore, or maintain daily living and work skills
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate, comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Valid COTA certification and active California state licensure (or compact eligibility)
- Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings is a big plus
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
- Physical ability to stand, move, and assist patients throughout the day
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of occupational therapy principles and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when working with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Adaptable team player who values collaboration and flexibility
