Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, quality care to patients and residents in their daily activities
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Support patient mobility and transfer with proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for the patients

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred, can be obtained)
• A caring, patient, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize patient needs
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
