Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support nursing staff by monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
- Ability to pass a background check and provide state/federal identification
- A compassionate heart and a passion for helping others
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents and families
- Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Patience, empathy, and attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize care tasks effectively
