Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support nursing staff by monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Ability to pass a background check and provide state/federal identification
• A compassionate heart and a passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents and families
• Knowledge of resident care protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Patience, empathy, and attention to detail
• Time management skills to prioritize care tasks effectively
