Location: Florence, AL

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (Night), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (schedule varies by assignment)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and resident transfers
Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the care team
Document care, observations, and interventions accurately and timely
Support a safe, clean, and dignified environment for residents
Collaborate with teammates to deliver person-centered care and improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Alabama) required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per-diem assignments
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
Reliable time management and teamwork skills
Familiarity with documentation best practices
