Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that enhances quality of life
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Document care accurately and collaborate with the care team to ensure best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for connecting with residents and team members
• Solid knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic computer skills for accurate documentation
