Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Acute Care
Location: Newburgh, Indiana
Start Date: 08-15-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 12.5-hour shifts, day or night options (e.g., 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), flexible schedule including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to provide exceptional care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Prior experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to patient well-being
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing
