Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
• Operate CVT and relevant equipment to assist physicians during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume Level I Trauma center

Qualifications

• Certified CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, or IR
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• On-call availability including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Skills in sterile technique and equipment handling
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations
