Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts starting at 7:00 AM, with 8, 10, or 12-hour options; on-call rotation includes 4-5 shifts per month and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
Operate CVT and relevant equipment to assist physicians during procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume Level I Trauma center

Qualifications

Certified CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, or IR
Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
On-call availability including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
Skills in sterile technique and equipment handling
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations
