Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to clients in a correctional mental health setting
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
• Document client progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support client recovery
• Apply evidence-based interventions to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges

Qualifications

• Active California LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license required
• Experience in mental health assessment and treatment
• Comfortable working in a correctional environment
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in clinical assessment and diagnosis using DSM criteria
• Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities
• Skilled in risk assessment and crisis intervention
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
• Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
