Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for comprehensive patient management
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maine
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Valid BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for communication disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
