Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Waterville, Maine
Start Date: 07-27-2026
End Date: 10-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for comprehensive patient management
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maine
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Valid BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for communication disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
