Shift Type: Per diem, 12.5-hour shifts, day or night options (e.g., 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), flexible schedule including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
  • Support patients with mobility and transfers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with nurses and therapists to provide exceptional care

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Prior experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to patient well-being

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
  • Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing
