Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate external beam and internal radiation treatments (EBRT, IRT) with compassion and precision
• Operate and optimize treatment platforms including IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, 3D-CRT, SRT, TomoTherapy and proton therapy where applicable
• Document treatments and patient interactions thoroughly in EPIC/Aria/Trubeam and CT systems
• Manage a high patient volume (average ~34 patients/day) while maintaining quality and patient-centered care
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses and the multidisciplinary team to develop and follow treatment plans
• Perform routine quality assurance and safety checks to ensure equipment and procedures meet standards
• Provide patient education and emotional support before, during and after treatments

Qualifications

• Certified Radiation Therapist — ARRT (T) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• 1-3 years of Radiation Therapy experience (per job details)
• Comfortable using EPIC, Aria, Trubeam, Vision RT and CT imaging systems
• Must be available in-state for the week of orientation; driver's license must be submitted (60 mile radius requirement)
• Able to work scheduled 10-hour weekday shifts and maintain professional scrub/dress code

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of radiation treatment techniques: IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, 3D-CRT, SRT, brachytherapy and proton therapy
• Experience with treatment planning workflow and radiation safety practices
• Familiarity with EPIC/Aria electronic charting and Trubeam/Vision RT systems
• Strong patient communication and empathy skills
• Detail-oriented with solid QA and documentation habits
• Team collaboration and ability to follow unit protocols and leadership direction
