Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, No call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic medical radiography and echocardiography exams for interpretation
Exercise professional judgment in applying radiation protection principles
Maintain accurate patient records and files
Participate in departmental quality assurance program
Assist with patient transport and department hygiene
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist
Current RDCS (Adult) certification required
BLS/BCLS certification required
Completion of an accredited ECHO training program
Multimodality skills preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Completion of an ECHO training program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in adult echocardiography
Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
Competence in patient assessment and age-appropriate care
Strong communication and documentation skills
Familiarity with quality assurance processes
