Travel Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Anchorage, AK

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for a variety of cases including OB, abdominal, vascular, and interventional procedures
- Support outpatient, ER, OR, and mammography departments as needed
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise imaging
- Follow established protocols and maintain imaging equipment, including GE Logiq systems
Qualifications
- Active ARDMS certification (RDMS) required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience with Abd, OB, and RVT preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
- Strong patient-centered focus and attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with GE Logiq ultrasound equipment
- Experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS
- Knowledge of a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, OB, scrotal, breast, abdomen, para/thoracentesis, biopsies, arterial, and venous
- Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
