Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, expert nursing care to patients throughout all phases of interventional radiology - pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure
• Administer moderate sedation safely and monitor patients closely during interventional procedures
• Collaborate with the IR team to ensure smooth, efficient procedures and optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with vascular and scrubbing duties as needed, contributing to a versatile and dynamic team
• Participate in rotating call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays, providing critical care when it matters most

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience in all phases of care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• NIH certification required
• Vascular and scrubbing experience preferred
• Active RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in interventional radiology nursing across the full care continuum
• Proficiency in administering and monitoring moderate sedation
• Strong understanding of vascular procedures and scrubbing techniques
• Up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced procedural environment
