Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each exam
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure accurate imaging
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting issues and reporting maintenance needs
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to review images and optimize protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety standards
• Assist with contrast administration and monitor patients for adverse reactions

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Valid California CT Technologist license (or proof of application)
• Previous CT imaging experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Successful completion of Prime onboarding assessments and health screening

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
• Comfort operating advanced CT scanners and contrast delivery systems
• Excellent patient communication and the ability to put anxious patients at ease
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative care team
