Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Build meaningful relationships and bring warmth, dignity, and respect to every interaction
• Document care provided accurately and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of resident care and ADL assistance
• Ability to monitor and document vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Adaptability to handle changing resident needs with a calm demeanor
