Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Single scrub cardiac cases with precision and care
Step in to support main OR procedures including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn when cardiac volume is low
Collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure seamless operations
Maintain sterile fields and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
Champion patient safety from setup to close

Qualifications

Active Surgical Tech certification or license in California
Proven experience scrubbing cardiac cases independently
Comfortable rotating through multiple specialties as needed
Strong attention to detail and calm under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sterile technique and instrumentation
Ability to adapt quickly between cardiac and general OR cases
Clear communication with surgeons and the perioperative team
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care
