Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and other therapists to provide comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and adjust therapeutic approaches to maximize outcomes
• Educate and empower families to support communication goals at home
• Participate in multidisciplinary care team meetings to ensure coordinated treatment

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric speech and language development
• Diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Excellent documentation and time-management skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
