Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to each patient
• Provide skilled therapy services to improve communication and swallowing function
• Document patient progress in compliance with regulations and facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure holistic care
• Champion infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
• Current California SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
• Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning abilities
• Excellent documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and infection control standards
