Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs
• Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy to help children improve communication skills
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, family members, and other care team members to ensure holistic care
• Educate families on at-home activities to support continued development

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Missouri
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Previous experience with pediatric or adolescent populations is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with children and families
• Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
• Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to therapy
