Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide integrated care
  • Educate patients and families, involving them in therapy goals and activities
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Oregon state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
  • Understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and disorders
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
