Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem as needed, 12.5-hour shifts, schedule varies based on department needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide integrated care
- Educate patients and families, involving them in therapy goals and activities
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Oregon state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or hospital setting
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and disorders
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
