Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 35 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with regulatory standards
Track patient progress and adjust treatments to maximize outcomes
Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on speech and swallowing strategies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to overcome barriers and celebrate progress
Complete thorough documentation and discharge summaries that meet all clinical requirements
Accurately record treatment minutes and maintain compliant patient records
Obtain necessary DME or supplies to support patient success

Qualifications

Active Texas state SLP license
Current ASHA CCC certification
At least 1 year of SLP experience
LTC or rehab experience strongly preferred
3 years holding active CCS preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Speech-Language Pathology expertise
Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Regulatory compliance and documentation
Evidence-based clinical interventions
Supervision of CFY clinicians and students
