Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on oncology patients
• Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing unit-based oncology training
• Administer vesicant chemotherapy once ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification is complete
• Monitor patient status and response to treatments, documenting accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Michigan or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification preferred, or willingness to complete the course
• Previous oncology or PCU experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Comfortable working with a fast-paced, acutely ill patient population
