Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse med/surg and telemetry patient population
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while keeping patients informed
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes with precision and timeliness

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license (Iowa or compact state)
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Prior experience in med/surg or telemetry nursing is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of med/surg and telemetry nursing practices
• Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive and compassionate care
