Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings, responding quickly to changes and alerting the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create and adjust individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while keeping safety top of mind
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR
• Float across units as part of the resource pool, bringing flexibility and teamwork wherever needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license or compact license
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to commit to a 6-month assignment with night shifts and every other weekend
• Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• No prior experience? No problem - we're excited to mentor new grads!

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong Med/Surg and telemetry nursing skills
• Comfort with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Excellent critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
• Time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records
